We are seeking a strategic and market focused professional to join our US third party team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team working with one of the largest MGA’s in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Understand a client or prospect’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues.
  • Assist with the client analytics on their portfolio.
  • Manage relationships and assist with negotiating placements.
  • Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy.
  • Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London.
  • Experience in managing existing programmes and structuring new contracts.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance requirements are met in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure any complaints are addressed and dealt with quickly.
  • Maintain expert real-time use of relevant systems including broking platform.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

  • Good communication, negotiation and personal skills.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
