Responsible for the administration support function of the Casualty broking team, together with handling renewals and some smaller accounts.
Responsibilities:- Total Objects duplication of renewals and setting up new business.
- Preparation of indications, quotes and binders.
- You will have the opportunity to handle renewals.
- Compiling correspondence files and underwriting information.
- Working up submissions for the broking team.
- Obtaining loss runs and alerts from Underwriters, keeping up to date for upcoming renewals.
- Ensure subjectivities get satisfied and support post placement queries.
- Ensure account files are kept in an audit ready condition.
- General administrative support needed for the team, as and when needed.
- Liaison with Back-up and Claims departments for policy and invoice production.
- A minimum of 2 years Broker Assistant (or equivalent) experience, ideally within Casualty.
- Strong communication skills (including written and verbal) with both internal and external customers.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others — strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and affinity for relationship building.
- Good administrative and time management skills.
- Good organisational skills.
