As a Trainee Teacher, you will:
- Support pupils and students aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties, tailoring assistance to their unique needs.
- Work under the mentorship of experienced Senior Leaders.
- We will fully fund the TES Straight into Teaching programme for you!
- Foster strong relationships with parents, families, and the local community to support pupil and student development.
- Occasionally supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
- Uphold the standards and expectations required of a trainee SEN teacher
- Contract: 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus 10 days for Easter/summer clubs
- Hours: 8:45 to 15:45 with a 30-minute lunch break, plus one after-school club per week from 15:30 to 17:15.
