PAY RATE: £13.26 per hour

HOURS: 18hrs per week Friday, Saturday and Sunday 18.15-00.15

THE ROLE: To provide a static security presence, offering a customer facing high profile level of reassurance, tackling low level antisocial behaviour in order to provide a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a high level of customer service, attending to customer questions as and when required.
  • Provide a high level of observation, identifying hazards, crimes, and security risks.
  • Provide a clearly identifiable and visible security presence for passengers on stations.
  • Update daily log and activity sheets.
  • Deal with security, crime, and safeguarding incidents.
  • Enforce the Railway Bylaws and other relevant legislation.
  • Complete detailed incidents reports.
  • Maintain excellent communication with client and other officers.
  • Crowd control duties when required.
  • Management of queues and queuing systems as required.
  • Deter and detect crime.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.
