We are currently looking for a Senior Credit Control Reporting Analyst to join our team based out of our Nottingham office. This is a highly visible role that combines technical reporting and operational expertise, supporting Finance, Underwriting and Business Operations to ensure effective management of debt, cash allocations and credit control reporting. You will play a key role in modernising existing manual and Excel-based processes, leveraging data tools, automation and AI solutions to improve reporting capability and support business growth. You will also support the Credit Control Manager in the day-to-day running of the function and deputise when required.

Key elements of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Own and enhance debt, cash allocation and broker (BDX) reporting processes across the Specialty business.
  • Drive automation of manual reporting, cash allocation and reconciliation activities through enhanced use of Excel, reporting tools and AI.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reporting queries from Finance, Underwriting and Business Operations teams.
  • Support the prioritisation and coordination of work across the Credit Management team, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly activities are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Partner closely with Underwriting and provide updates on key initiatives and reporting developments to Specialty Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
  • Support the Credit Control Manager with operational activities, audits, projects and ad hoc business initiatives, deputising where required.

The successful candidate will be an advanced Excel user with experience building, maintaining and enhancing sophisticated reporting models, using tools such as Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA Macros and reporting automation to transform large volumes of data into accurate and meaningful management information. Experience within Financial Services or Insurance would be advantageous, particularly where reporting, reconciliations, cash allocations and debt management form part of the role. Equally important is the ability to build strong relationships across the business, working closely with Finance, Underwriting and Operations stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting, meet demanding deadlines and support informed business decision-making.
