We are seeking a Trainee Actuary to join our London office, working within the Pricing team. In this role, you will support the delivery of actuarial pricing across a diverse portfolio of General Insurance products, collaborating closely with underwriting teams to develop and maintain pricing models, monitor performance and contribute to the pricing of both existing and new products.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of insurance classes and play a key role in supporting business growth within an ambitious and expanding organisation. You will be involved in analysing pricing assumptions against experience, helping to refine models and supporting the development of rate monitoring and adequacy frameworks.
The role also provides the opportunity to work with colleagues across reserving, capital and reinsurance functions, giving you broad exposure across actuarial disciplines. AmTrust is committed to developing talent, and a full actuarial study package is available.
We are looking for a highly numerate graduate who is passionate about building a career in actuarial science. You will have strong analytical capability, proficiency in Excel and an interest or experience in coding languages such as Python, R, VBA or SQL. Alongside technical ability, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business will be key to your success in this role.
