Today AmTrust International underwrites over $1.8 billion of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 employees globally. We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our team based in our London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to gain exposure across a broad range of work within a busy and supportive Civil Litigation team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the litigation process from instruction through to resolution. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with case preparation
- Maintaining accurate file management
- Conducting legal research using a range of resources
- Liaising with clients, counsel and third parties both over the phone and in writing
- Supporting hearings and trials by preparing bundles and documentation
- Assisting with disclosure exercises
- Drafting and processing legal documents and forms
- Attending client meetings where required
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working within a Litigation team. You will hold a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law and demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will be proactive in your approach, able to use your initiative, and comfortable interpreting instructions accurately to deliver high-quality work.
