We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our London team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This role sits within our Specialty Business Partnering team and plays a key part in supporting Lead Underwriters and Senior Business Partners across a portfolio of Specialty products.
Responsibilities- Produce high‑quality financial and underwriting management information.
- Analyze product performance against plan, forecast and prior periods.
- Support the annual business planning process and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Contribute to the three‑year strategic planning cycle for assigned product areas.
- Develop and enhance financial models to deliver robust and timely insights.
- Work closely with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and the wider Finance teams to ensure clear, aligned and commercially focused outcomes.
- Background in financial services, ideally within the insurance sector.
- Recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience developing and working with complex financial models.
- Excellent Excel skills, with VBA knowledge considered an advantage.
- Confidence handling large datasets.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of relevant accounting standards, including US, UK and/or Irish GAAP.
