We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded People Team Business Partner to join our People Team. This is a key role within the business, leading on employee relations and acting as the senior point of expertise for complex and sensitive people matters. You’ll work closely with managers across the organisation to provide practical, solutions-focused advice, ensuring a consistent and compliant approach to people management.
- Employee Relations
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and appeals)
- Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling people issues
- Support employment tribunal cases and liaise with external legal advisors where needed
- Support and lead restructuring, redundancy and TUPE processes end-to-end
- Provide guidance to managers on organisational design and change initiatives
- People Operations & Compliance
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
- Oversee HR systems and ensure employee data is accurate and GDPR compliant
- Manage visa sponsorship activity and ensure compliance with Home Office requirements
- Produce people data and insights to support decision-making
- Manage and support the Associate People Team Business Partner and People Team Executive
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role. Strong employee relations expertise, including complex case management. Experience managing or mentoring HR team members. Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience with visa sponsorship and immigration compliance. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. Lead on meaningful organisational change projects.
