ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a confident and experienced professional with a passion for quality, health & safety, information security, or environmental management? Join one of the UK’s leading certification bodies as a management systems Auditor. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients across the UK, delivering high-quality certification audits and helping them build safer, stronger, and more resilient management systems. This is a field-based role involving site audits, remote report writing, and flexible home working. We’ll support your development with full training, structured CPD, and the opportunity to progress your auditing career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, conduct and report on audits against ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001
  • Deliver professional, risk-based assessments that add real value to our clients
  • Lead opening and closing meetings, clearly communicating audit processes and findings
  • Prepare accurate, concise audit reports with clear recommendations
  • Build strong working relationships with clients across a variety of sectors
  • Stay up to date with relevant ISO standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Strong industry specific knowledge and hands-on experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage primarily regional travel (typically within ~70 miles), with occasional national travel when required
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required)
  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, or ISO 45001
  • Experience conducting or managing ISO audits
  • Understanding of UKAS or certification body requirements
  • A Degree/BA or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate, NVQ Level 3 in OHS) with at least 2 years’ experience general health and safety work experience
