A client‑facing role that combines technical ISO expertise with commercial awareness, supporting both new business development and existing client growth. Working closely with Sales Executives and Account Managers, you will act as the technical authority throughout the sales process — helping clients understand certification requirements, audit processes, and the commercial value of accredited certification.
The successful candidate will be confident engaging with clients at all levels, translating technical standards into clear, practical business solutions and supporting revenue growth through trusted technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Attend client meetings, discovery calls, and proposal discussions alongside the Sales team
- Provide expert guidance on ISO standards, certification pathways, audit requirements, and UKAS expectations
- Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, certification scopes, and tender responses
- Assist clients with certification planning, audit duration guidance, and scope definition
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client certification portfolios across multiple ISO standards
- Deliver training, product coaching / lunch and learn sessions in order to drive organisational capability and knowledge
- Work collaboratively with Audit, Compliance, Operations, and Account Management teams
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, technical training, and client‑facing guidance materials
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and accredited certification requirements as well as Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials + & SOC2
- Experience within a certification body, conformity assessment body, or similar regulated environment
- Understanding of UKAS requirements, accreditation frameworks, and audit processes
- Experience in a client‑facing advisory, technical sales support, or auditing role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to relate technical solutions to business value
- Lead Auditor qualification in one or more ISO standards
- Experience supporting tenders, ITTs, or procurement submissions
- Multi‑standard management systems experience
- Experience in a B2B commercial or technical sales environment
- Experience across the following standards is highly desirable:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
- ISO 27001 – Information Security Management
- Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials + & SOC2
Additional experience with ISO 22301, ISO 50001, or ISO 13485 would be advantageous.
