We are working with a growing organisation with an active acquisition strategy. As the business continues to expand through M&A, they are looking for an M&A Integration Coordinator to play a central role in bringing newly acquired businesses into the wider organisation.

The integration team manages a steady pipeline of acquisitions, ranging from straightforward integrations through to larger, more complex programmes. This role will take ownership of those sitting in the middle β acquisitions that require someone to get under the skin of the incoming business, understand how it operates and coordinate the activity required to successfully integrate it.
What the role involves
When a new business joins the organisation, information can be spread across different teams, systems and suppliers. A major part of your role will be bringing that information together, identifying gaps and building a clear picture of what needs to happen next.
You will be responsible for:
- Understanding how each acquired business operates, including its systems, processes, service arrangements and internal responsibilities.
- Mapping the external vendors, providers and suppliers the business relies upon.
- Reviewing existing contractual arrangements, including contract terms, notice periods, renewal dates and terms of business, and identifying what needs to transfer, change or be replaced.
- Coordinating the transfer and novation of relevant agreements and relationships through to completion.
- Comparing what you uncover during integration against information gathered during the commercial and due diligence stages, identifying discrepancies, gaps or areas requiring further investigation.
- Building and maintaining an integration plan for each acquisition, tracking actions and ensuring activity continues to move forward.
- Coordinating across finance, commercial, compliance, operations and data teams, alongside external providers and other stakeholders.
- Acting as a key point of contact for issues relating to suppliers, providers and operational dependencies throughout the integration.
Who this suits
We are looking for someone with around 2β3 years' experience within acquisitions, integration, project coordination, project support or a similar operational role. You are likely to be someone who enjoys getting into the detail, spotting inconsistencies and questioning information when it does not quite add up.
You will also need to be:
- Comfortable managing multiple pieces of work at different stages.
- Able to work effectively where there is not always a fixed process or template to follow.
- Confident communicating across different departments and with external organisations.
- Comfortable constructively challenging stakeholders and chasing information when required.
- Highly organised, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
What you get
This is an opportunity to gain genuine exposure to the M&A lifecycle within a business that continues to grow through acquisition.
You will have visibility across multiple areas of the organisation, with senior stakeholders relying on your understanding of how individual integrations are progressing.
There is plenty of variety, with a continuous pipeline of acquisitions presenting different operational challenges to understand and resolve, alongside a clear opportunity to develop into broader M&A, integration and project-based responsibilities over time.
