Amtis is supporting a well-established organisation to hire a Compliance Officer into a Legal & Compliance team. A chance to join a dynamic team in an established business that truly looks after its staff. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level compliance professional with hands-on experience across Data Protection, or AML, financial crime and regulatory compliance, who enjoys working closely with stakeholders in an in-house environment.
The Role
- Support the Legal & Compliance function across AML, financial crime and data privacy
- Conduct compliance monitoring and assurance reviews
- Prepare and support Data Subject Access Requests (SARs), AML reviews, sanctions and PEP screening
- Maintain compliance policies and frameworks
- Support regulatory scanning and governance reporting
- Provide compliant, practical guidance to the wider business
About You
- At least 1 year’s experience in a Compliance or Legal & Compliance team
- Practical experience with AML, SARs, sanctions or PEPs
- Comfortable operating in a Second Line of Defence role
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Well organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Compliance or AML qualification desirable but not essential
