Amtis is partnering with a leading European business whose technology supports individuals across the continent. They are looking for a Cloud Platform / Infrastructure Manager to take their Azure estate to the next level, and to build the team that runs it.
The opportunity The organisation moved to Azure through a lift-and-shift migration. The next step is turning that estate into a secure, resilient, scalable and cost-conscious cloud platform built on cloud-native ways of working. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Operations, you will lead an infrastructure team of 8+ and own the operation, governance and modernisation of the Azure platform. Govern and secure: own Azure governance (management groups, policy-as-code, tagging, access and guardrails) and work with Security to meet zero trust and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Drive cost-aware engineering: partner with FinOps and Finance on consumption insight, right-sizing, reservations and savings plans.
Lead and develop the team: coach a team of 8+ through the shift to cloud-native operations with learning plans, hands-on labs and certification roadmaps, and manage cloud suppliers.
What you will bring
5+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with deep Azure expertise, including at least 2 years leading cloud transformation (not just migration).
Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform preferred, or Bicep/ARM), Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipeline design, and scripting in PowerShell or Python.
