We currently have a Housekeeping Assistant vacancy within our Wallsend residential care home, working 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Work as Kitchen Assistant: maintain general cleanliness, wash crockery, cutlery and utensils; lay and clean tables; assist in meal preparation; serve light meals and beverages.
- Work as Domestic Assistant: keep the home clean; clean communal areas, bedrooms, toilets, bathrooms, laundry, hairdressing salon, offices, and other areas as required.
- Work as Laundry Assistant: organise laundry; ensure residents’ clothing is laundered, ironed, mended, and returned to each resident.
Shift lengths vary; the candidate must be flexible, willing to work hard and be adaptable.
