We currently have an opportunity for a Day Shift House Leader (Senior Carer) to join our Eothen Homes family; the successful candidate will be based in our dementia care home in Wallsend.
Hours: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, working any 3 days out of 7.
Responsibilities:
- Manage residents' medication and take responsibility of the day-to-day running of the household.
- Demonstrate and promote person-centred attitudes and beliefs.
- Lead the staff team to use their mix of skills to enhance the wellbeing of the people living at the home.
- Communicate openly and regularly through meetings, one-to-one supervisions, coaching alongside care assistants and domestics developing a clear strategy and plan that involves the full staff team.
