AmSafe Bridport has newly created opportunities for trainees to learn new skills on industrial machines and develop a career in manufacturing based at our facility in Bridport Dorset.
AmSafe Bridport is a worldwide market leader for cargo restraints and protection systems in aviation and defence; we design, develop &manufacture world-class engineered textile solutions for the safety &securement needs of the global aerospace and defence industries.
Working with major aircraft manufacturers, our products include airframe safety systems, aircraft safety equipment, cargo restraint solutions and RPG protection.
We have manufacturing, operational and service facilities in the UK, North America and Sri Lanka.
Trainees will learn to use industrial sewing machines, work to design drawings and produce finished products for a range of customer needs. No previous experience is required as a full training programme will be in place to ensure that our trainees become effective and confident team members.
This role would suit anyone looking to learn new skills and gain a permanent role in aerospace manufacturing with a local company.
We offer an attractive 4 day working week of Monday to Thursday 7:00 – 17:15, and staff benefits including 25 days holiday +bank holidays, Health Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme, group pension plans.
