As a UX Researcher you\’ll be a subject matter expert responsible for planning and executing user research to inform the design of digital services. This individual contributor role works across multiple projects, applying a range of research methods to uncover user needs and behaviours.
Key Accountabilities
Things you will do:
- Design and conduct user research using appropriate methodologies.
- Analyse and synthesise findings into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback.
- Advocate for user-centred design principles across the organisation.
- Contribute to the development of research frameworks and best practices.
Skills & Experience
You\’ll need to demonstrate:
Must haves
- Strong and proven experience in a UX Researcher role (User interviews, usability testing, surveys)
- Experience of working with product managers and designers before
- Familiarity with UX methodologies and experience/skills in data analysis and synthesis
- Experience of journey mapping and persona development
- Experience of preparing research documentation and reporting
- Experience of using Research tools (e.g., Optimal Workshop, Lookback)
- Experience of delivering research outputs that directly influence product decisions
- Experience of maintaining high quality and rigour in research execution and reporting
- Experience of meeting project timelines and stakeholder expectations
- Continuous learning and contribution to team knowledge
Nice to haves
- Certifications in UX researching
- AI research experience (working with AI tools and mixing the usual methods of research with AI tools of research)
