The Role
You’ll work onsite with our Financial Services client based in London, partnering with Senior Stakeholders, Attraction Teams and other organisations such as universities on Early Careers Campaigns (Graduate, Summer Internship and Spring Insights Programmes). With a clear focus on Early Careers Recruitment, you’ll support specific business areas covering seasonal recruitment supporting all campaigns and programmes. You’ll manage candidates through a selection process to agreed timelines in a fast‑paced client‑facing environment. Within Early Careers, you’ll partner with Talent Attraction Teams and Senior Stakeholders within the client to deliver these projects, working and building relationships with stakeholders in third‑party organisations such as governing bodies and universities to ensure your pool of candidates remains healthy.
Key Accountabilities
- Support client hiring managers with filling their Early Careers hiring demand within the agreed timeframes, whilst also meeting diversity targets.
- Create and maintain trust‑partner relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders, advising through insight and SME knowledge on the recruitment process.
- Lead discussion on attraction strategies for your business areas, partnering with team members to identify the correct approach based on the market and hiring demands.
- Manage client presence at target universities, monitoring response rates and ensuring return on investments.
- Maintain the recruitment system so that it accurately reflects the status of all selection activity, and be able to report effectively on activity in your areas.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to progress candidates through the pipeline in a timely manner including overseeing eligibility screening.
- Oversee the interview and assessment selection process including guiding the business on their responsibilities.
- Oversee the offer and onboarding of Early Careers candidates.
- Identify areas of process improvement, service enhancement and opportunities to increase the scope of the service and communicate these to the Manager.
Skills & Requirements
Must haves:
- Track record of delivering end‑to‑end Early Careers campaigns and targeted solutions, ideally with experience of delivering at least two seasons in an Early Careers Recruiter role.
- Experience recruiting in the Financial Services/Banking sector, with investment banking experience desirable.
- Senior stakeholder management experience and ability to liaise with and influence all levels of management to agree a change of direction or new process.
- Experience in developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes (e.g., decreased time to hire, increased quality of hire).
- Experience with applying diversity and inclusion strategies throughout the candidate attraction & selection process.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, complex matrix environment.
- Data‑driven mindset.
