About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to play a pivotal role in enabling strategic transformation and driving financial performance across key business units. This role is with a global leader in healthcare, renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. Based in Reading, this position offers a unique opportunity to lead critical financial planning processes, support investment decisions, and contribute to ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for key business units.
- Partner with business unit leaders to provide strategic financial support, insights, and challenge.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting systems.
- Prepare business cases to support investments, innovation, and transformation initiatives.
- Represent the Finance function in cross-functional forums, including strategic planning sessions and executive committee reviews.
- Support strategic initiatives, such as D2C platform development and CHC growth acceleration.
- Contribute to compliance, budget reviews, and overall financial governance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in FP&A leadership roles within healthcare, FMCG, or related fast-paced sectors.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience supporting commercial teams and translating business strategy into actionable financial plans.
- Expertise in operating within matrixed and dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel financial modelling.
- Exposure to international finance or global matrix organizations is a plus.
