The Role
What if your skills mattered more than your job title? At AMS, we’re building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator/ Technical Assistant who enjoys learning and values teamwork. You’ll work onsite/hybrid with Rolls Royce Emerging Talent Team collaborating with the Recruitment and Programme Management Team, senior stakeholders, Attraction Teams and will create and deliver innovative and tailored programs to build talent pipelines and support talent pools. You’ll be partnering closely with the Learning Team, the role is responsible for supporting the execution of programmes. This is hybrid role: 3 days/week in Derby.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for coordinating our High Potential programmes and future leadership pipelines, this includes administrative activities, communications, tracking and data management.
- Providing updates and detailed feedback to the Head of Emerging Talent and Director of Talent around programme performance, status and reviews.
- Tracking operational budgets, spend and KPIs.
- Creating briefing packs (word and powerpoint) for the Head of Emerging Talent on the programme delivery.
- Managing programme logistics for our leadership and talent programmes including coordinating bookings, timetables, transportation and feedback.
- Meet & Greet at High Potential programme events.
- Briefing people directors and senior stakeholders on requirements for events (e.g. speaker notes or required inputs).
- Coordinating wider talent activities such as talent cards, training requirements, budget tracking and supplier communications.
- Supporting the Head of Emerging Talent on project plans, key milestones, programme tracking and reporting to talent committees.
Skills & Requirements
Must haves:
- Project management / coordination experience.
- Strong Presentation/PowerPoint skills.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- Experience working in complex and highly matrixed organisations.
- Familiarity with Talent Acquisition processes (e.g. Early Careers, volume recruitment).
- Experience in designing, delivering and/or facilitating soft skills and employability training sessions; vendor selection and management.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and influence up to Senior Leadership level.
- Competent using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word).
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Problem solving, analytical thinking and handling data.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility with regards to availability for stakeholder meetings.
- Working with senior stakeholders within an Admin capacity.
- Supporting development of Early Careers programmes.
