Purpose and Position in Organisation
To ensure that AMS has a market-leading regional Employer Brand Consulting proposition, where we are recognized as global thought-leaders and innovators in this space. The role is also responsible for the growth, development and full commercial accountability of AMS' Employer Brand Consulting AEU (APAC/EMEA/UKI) client portfolio. To deliver the five-year plan for regional Employer Brand Consulting in line with AMS' strategy.
Performance Outcomes / Accountabilities
- Ensure AMS is recognised as a global leader for all elements of Regional Employer Brand Consulting
- High levels of customer advocacy, with a high proportion of clients prepared to represent AMS in the market through white papers, joint presentations, analyst surveys and references
- Successful delivery of budgets and people objectives in region
- Resolution of all contractual, commercial and operational issues and escalations in region
- Retention of clients as per growth strategy
- Year-on-year improvement on win rate and overall client project satisfaction
- Year-on-year improvement in employee engagement scores
- Clear succession plans in place for accounts in portfolio and successor identified
- Senior client advocates established who are willing to support the growth of the business
- Evidence of supporting the Regional comms plan leading at least 1x Leadership comms initiative
- Clearly communicate the Brand Consulting strategic vision and plan.
- Clear, robust, and measurable People and Engagement plan

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Role model leadership behaviours for all people and specifically those within allocated client teams, supporting the design and implementation of a Strategic Account Vision and Development Plan
- Line manage Employer Brand Advisory team in the region against agreed performance and productivity targets/metrics to drive high levels of engagement and performance
- Prioritise AMS resource needs effectively by ensuring provision of high performing team resource as available for assignments across portfolio
- Mentor and develop team with a focus on the development and performance of their teams, the customer, operational excellence, sector/service line innovation and growth - under the direction of the Global Advisory MD, and in collaboration with Regional, Sector and Operations MDs.
- Continue to identify optimal client delivery hubs/locations for regional Employer Brand Advisory talent as part of our People Strategy and our location strategy; ensuring there are career paths, succession options in place across advisory globally.
- Growth
- Lead the Growth Strategy for Regional Employer Brand Advisory, working collaboratively with Regional MDs and Sector MDs, Regional Growth teams to align broader AMS opportunities/growth plans
- Ensure there is a Growth plan in place to support the 5-year plan, with appropriate resources and milestones in place to hit targets
- Financials
- Manage the portfolio P&L; identifying variances from plan and driving leaders to take corrective action
- Lead the negotiation of existing and new financial terms with all clients in the portfolio, working in collaboration with Commercial, Legal and Regional MDs/Sector MDs where necessary to drive enhanced
- Client and Operations
- Take full operational ownership and drive the performance of the Regional Employer Brand Advisory portfolio, ensuring that we are meeting all our agreed contractual obligations and have planned scope expansion plans across every project within the portfolio
- Drive a strategic client relationship plan, developing senior level/c-suite relationships with all clients in the portfolio, including leveraging other AMS sponsors into relationships as appropriate to ensure they are advocates of AMS and our broader services
- Be a senior point of escalation for all operational and commercial issues for accounts within the Regional Employer Brand Advisory portfolio
- Take overall responsibility for meeting compliance, risk and audit standards for all Regional Employer Brand Advisory projects within the portfolio in line with AMS and client requirements
- Ensure continuous improvement and innovation are embedded in a cohesive account plan across the portfolio to ensure customer delight and that we stay ahead of the market and maintain our market leading position
- Technical Skills
- Visible thought leadership demonstrating a strategic understanding of Talent Acquisition drivers across all disciplines
- Knowledge and experience of the client landscape for accounts within portfolio (specific or cross - sector), as well as US picture for any regional clients in portfolio
- Knowledge and experience of the significant sectors within portfolio (key players, sector trends, opportunities, current relationships)
- Knowledge and experience of leading projects and client relationships in both large-scale transformations and RPO/CWS solutions, the regional variances and where/how to include other Innovation propositions such as wider Advisory or AMS Talent Lab
- Client champion - will demand the best from wider AMS teams in line with contractual expectations
- Demonstrative skill and expertise in Global and Regional (direct and matrix) senior people leadership, and in building and working with virtual teams - will always demonstrate "inspirational leadership"
- Demonstrative ability, and passion for people leadership, engagement and development
- Demonstrative ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders towards a course of action and ability to build a position as a trusted advisor
- Demonstrative capability to manage a P&L around 3 million GBP
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a focus on successful outcomes, particularly in a globally matrixed organisation
