The Role
Working as part of the Early Careers team, you will be working in a \”360\” role delivering both attraction and selection activity, alongside being responsible for a key project related to Work Experience and Apprenticeship hiring. Managing full life-cycle recruitment for vacancies, you could be supporting Work Experience, Foundation Apprenticeship or Degree Apprenticeship hiring at different parts of the year, alongside delivering a suite of recruitment and non-recruitment attraction activity directly to potential applicants.
Exceptional candidate experience, decreasing time-to-hire, and ensuring a best-in-class experience for all are central to the aspirations of the team, and your activity will directly tie into helping us achieve those objectives.
This role is best suited for someone with Early Careers recruitment experience, looking to take on more accountability or project oversight whilst working on behalf of a household client name.
Key Accountabilities
What you\’ll be doing:
- Key project ownership on one of: Work Experience, Foundation Apprenticeship or Degree Apprenticeship hiring
- Risk stewardship – working in a globally matrixed and highly regulated environment
- Delivering best in class recruitment activity, spotting and suggesting key optimisations or angles for continuous improvement
- Facilitation of selection processes – assessor upskilling, challenging, individual interview management through to running assessment centres
- Ensuring a constant spotlight on candidate experience – constantly looking to find ways to improve, educate, and accelerate processes
- Delivery of attraction activity – physically and virtually
Skills & Experience
You\’ll need to demonstrate:
Must haves:
- Recruitment Experience – ideally RPO/In-house with a focus on Early Careers (Apprenticeship) hiring
- Strong operational ability, able to operate in a high volume, fast-paced & process-driven environment
- An understanding of Work Experience & Apprenticeships recruitment best practice tools and methodologies (e.g. psychometric testing, interview methodologies)
- Stakeholder management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, ideally evidenced by supporting teams across multiple countries and seniority levels
- An understanding and utilisation of Data
Nice to haves:
- Apprenticeship Levy knowledge – varying apprenticeship qualifications, how a business can utilise the Levy, wider training provider awareness/knowledge
- Financial Services experience
- Exposure to a highly matrixed global environment
- Experienced interviewer and interview/assessor trainer
- Good Early Careers/Emerging Talent awareness (i.e., key trends, appetites, audience/demographic desires, etc.)
- Diversity sourcing experience
- Presentation skills – verbal and in-person
- Data analysis skills – either formal qualifications or an ability to analyse/infer/report
