Key Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Hiring Managers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular alignment discussions on role expectations, hiring timelines, and challenges.
- Proactively manage expectations around candidate availability, market conditions, and turnaround time.
- Ensure consistent and transparent communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing talent intelligence, market insights, and hiring recommendations.
Intake Review & Role Understanding
- Independently review intake details in cases where recruiter-led briefings are not conducted.
- Analyze job descriptions, key responsibilities, and required competencies thoroughly.
- Clarify role-related ambiguities through proactive follow-ups with Hiring Managers.
- Develop a clear understanding of business requirements, team structure, and success criteria.
Hiring Category Expertise
- Manage hiring across diverse role types.
- Understand and leverage role-specific sourcing channels and talent pools for each category.
Sourcing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using multiple channels: ATS (Avature), job portals, LinkedIn, internal database, and referrals.
- Utilize advanced search techniques including Boolean strings and targeted keyword searches.
- Tailor sourcing methodologies based on role types (technical, legal, engineering, corporate).
- Continuously evaluate sourcing effectiveness and refine strategies based on market insights.
Candidate Sourcing & Screening
- Source and identify high-quality candidates aligned with job requirements.
- Perform detailed resume screening focusing on relevance, experience, and skill alignment.
- Conduct initial screening discussions (where required) to assess skills and competencies, experience and role fit, career aspirations and motivations.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified and engaged candidates.
High-Volume Screening
- Efficiently manage and review large volumes of applications (100+ profiles).
- Prioritise candidates based on relevance to role, experience level, and skill match.
- Ensure high-quality shortlisting while maintaining speed and efficiency.
Candidate Submission to Hiring Managers
- Present shortlisted candidates with complete and accurate information: updated resume, candidate summary (skills, experience, fitment), compensation details and notice period.
- Provide clear recommendations and rationale for candidate selection.
- Ensure submissions are error-free and aligned with role expectations.
Attention to Detail
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in candidate data and documentation, role requirements and submissions, stakeholder communication and ATS updates.
- Minimise errors in resumes, submissions, and email communication.
Skills & Requirements
- Must haves: Proven permanent proactive sourcing experience, using a full range of proactive sourcing tools and techniques within Financial Services. Experience using an extensive range of sourcing tools and technology. Strong ability to present meaningful MI and conduct consultative, data‑led conversations with Hiring Managers and HR teams. Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent administration, compliance, and process management skills, with strong attention to detail. Proven candidate management and talent pooling capability, building sustainable pipelines for current and future hiring. Strong stakeholder partnering skills, with confidence operating as a trusted adviser. Ability to manage volume while maintaining quality, candidate experience, and accuracy.
