At AMS, we\βre always looking for ways to develop and enhance our services, and our Service Enablement function is no different. We\βre currently recruiting a Technology professional to join us as a Business Analyst supporting the development of new and existing services.
This role offers you the chance to grow your skills and become a subject matter expert in one of our key growth areas. While the role will challenge you at times, we offer significant training and development opportunities so you can help us advance what we do and offer to our diverse client portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
What you\βll be doing:
As a Business Analyst within our Service Enablement function, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing analytical support for feature development.
- Proactively investigating and assessing issues and trends and offering insight and recommendations to the team.
- Collaborating with other business units to deliver business solutions.
- Support the creation and management of User Stories.
- Supporting the testing of services and processes.
- Assisting Delivery Management in sharing updates on roadmap items and timelines, ensuring effective communication across Technology, Strategy, and Operational teams.
- Leading Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinements, and poker planning.
- Sharing information at varying technical levels to suit different stakeholders.
- Understanding and supporting the achievement of operational performance metrics.
- Compiling and reporting insights from defect reports, supporting action plans based on these insights.

To succeed in this role, you\βll bring:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile development team.
- Experience leading Scrum ceremonies.
- Familiarity with backlog management tools (e.g., DevOps) and system modelling tools (e.g., Visio).
- Proven ability to define and refine backlog items.
- Experience in understanding customer needs and creating business requirements.
- Strong decision-making and project management skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential)
We\βre especially keen to hear from you if you have:
- A technical understanding of the challenges of SaaS solutions.
- Experience running requirements-gathering workshops.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning concepts.
- A background in recruitment.
