You will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEND is desirable, but not essential.
- A calm, patient and positive approach when supporting pupils.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the SEN team.
- Ability to support pupils with their individual needs, learning and daily routines.
- A caring and respectful approach towards pupils with a range of additional needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
