We are looking for a reliable, organised and friendly SEN Administrator to join our team.
You will provide essential administrative support to the SEN department, helping to ensure the smooth running of our provision and supporting pupils, families and staff. The role will involve maintaining accurate records, managing communication and assisting the SEN team with the day-to-day organisation of the department.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable, ideally within a school or SEND setting.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and work to deadlines.
- A calm, friendly and helpful approach when communicating with pupils, parents, staff and external professionals.
- Ability to work independently while also being a positive and supportive member of the SEN team.
- A willingness to learn and develop an understanding of SEN processes and procedures.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
