We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Geography Teacher to join our growing and committed team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute positively to a supportive school environment and make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.
The Role
Reporting to the Headteacher, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography teaching across Key Stage 3, ensuring pupils make strong progress and develop a curiosity and understanding of the world around them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Geography lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress effectively
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
- Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Supporting the wider life of the school and upholding its Islamic ethos
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a committed and reflective practitioner who is passionate about teaching Geography and inspiring young learners. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Desired)
- A strong subject knowledge of Geography at KS3 level
- Experience of delivering engaging and effective lessons, with good classroom management
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil achievement
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Alignment with the values, ethos, and expectations of an Islamic school environment
