Darul Uloom London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science education to Key Stage 3 students, while contributing to the holistic development of learners who are on the path to becoming future scholars and Huffaz.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the KS3 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies
- Support students’ academic growth alongside their moral and spiritual development
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental planning and meetings
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Science or a related field
- Teaching qualification (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
- Experience teaching KS3 students
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to the ethos and values of Darul Uloom London
Desirable
- Previous experience working in an Islamic educational setting
- Ability to inspire and motivate students toward academic excellence
