Mechanical Assembly Operative

Day shift, permanent THE ROLE: A great permanent job opportunity for a mechanical assembler / mechanical fitter – will suit someone who has good mechanical and general assembly experience. Able to use hand and basic air tools for a range of assembly and bench fitting tasks working with high accuracy and attention to detail. Some experience assembling basic hydraulics / pneumatics / hoses and associated pipework ideal but not essential. In addition to your hands-on skills and experience, you should be able to follow engineering drawings and work to high standards as part of a team. YOU: To be successful in this role you should have: – Solid mechanical assembly experience in a factory / workshop / production type environment and be able to demonstrate your competence and commitment. – Ability to do basic fault finding and problem solving on your own work. – High accuracy and attention to detail, working to safe work methods and high quality standards. – Motivation to develop your skills and increase your value to the company – keen to learn.
