The Technical Manager is responsible for delivering technical resources for New Product Development (NPD) and ensuring compliance and specifications for all legacy products. This role provides technical support, manages compliance testing within critical timelines, and ensures adherence to global standards.
- Lead technical compliance for global ACE products and manage all testing within defined timelines.
- Support Product Management in developing best-in-class products through benchmarking and user trials.
- Ensure all products meet EU, UK, NAFTA, and global compliance requirements; maintain technical documentation.
- Monitor legislative changes and implement compliance programs proactively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize product performance and cost.
- Manage compliance testing budgets and maintain accurate records.
- Provide training on legislation changes and represent the company in external technical groups.
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a technical role, ideally in automotive aftermarket.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Interest in automotive products (if no prior industry experience).
- Full driving license; willingness to travel.
