AMS Ltd (t/a Foundations Archaeology & Foundations Heritage) is a well-established small company, trading for over 30 years. Due to a successful year and a strong ongoing programme of fieldwork, we are looking for motivated, dedicated individuals to join our team.
Work will be based from the Swindon office but will involve stay-away projects across the UK, for which accommodation, subsistence & mileage (where applicable) will be paid.

Skills required:
- Proven track record in supervising commercial fieldwork projects
- Previous experience in client & supervising bodies' liaison
- Experience in writing grey literature reports preferable
- Experience in DBAs desirable
- Full clean UK manual driving licence essential
- CIfA Membership desirable; ACIfA/equivalent preferred
Personal Skills:
- Candidates should be enthusiastic, ethical, hard-working & flexible.
- Have proven experience in relevant roles within commercial archaeology (ideally minimum 1 year at supervisor level).
- Able to work effectively as a team player & independently with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient organisational skills to supervise fieldwork and able to work effectively to short timescales.
