The Role
As a Mixed Tax Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of private and corporate clients, ensuring the delivery of accurate, efficient, and compliant tax services.
Initially focused on compliance, you will prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses of different sizes.
As your role develops, you will support managers and directors on specialist advisory and consulting projects, gaining exposure to more complex areas of tax.
This role is ideal for an ATT or ACCA qualified (or part‑qualified) professional with experience across both corporate and personal tax within a practice environment.
You will join a respected firm just outside Manchester city centre, benefiting from a diverse client base and ongoing professional development within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client portfolio management - Manage and oversee a mixed portfolio of private and corporate tax clients.
- Tax return preparation - Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses of varying sizes.
- Corporation tax compliance - Lead on corporation tax compliance; personal tax experience is highly advantageous.
- Advisory support - Assist managers and directors with specialist advisory and consulting projects.
- Regulatory compliance - Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations.
- Client relationship building - Build strong client relationships through effective communication and high‑quality service delivery.
Experience & Skills Required
- Tax compliance experience with strong knowledge of UK tax regulations.
- Practice background within a Top 50–Top 100 UK accountancy firm.
- Corporation tax expertise with personal tax experience or interest advantageous.
