Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service partner with Tesco Bank to support contingent recruitment hiring. On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a SOX Control Analyst based Remotely (ideally ad hoc attendance to Edinburgh office) for an initial contract length of 6 Months. Job description – the role As SOX Control Analyst you will support the ongoing integration of Finance and Technology processes within the SOX framework. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing and enhancing key business processes to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and close control gaps by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities: Build network and coordinate the asks across many different stakeholders to gather required evidence and track progress. Identify gaps in existing processes and gather evidence required to demonstrate compliance. Work with internal and third-party systems to test processes in controlled environments. Create and refine process maps, ensuring all financial transactions and system workflows are clearly documented. Provide detailed evidence for SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance, including system design documents and testing results. Support finance and IT teams in tracking progress, resolving blockers, and providing regular updates. Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience Skills and Qualifications: Strong background in financial processes, risk management, and control frameworks. Ability to work closely with Finance Teams to clearly agree and understand the scope of the control points. Experience with US SOX compliance, particularly in test environments. Proficiency in gap analysis, process mapping, and process improvement. Technical aptitude to work with IT systems and articulate solutions effectively.
