On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Quantitative Developer (C++) for a 6 Month contract based in London (Hybrid).

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a Quantitative Developer to join a high-performing Front Office team, working directly alongside traders to deliver quantitative solutions that drive trading performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Operating within a client-aligned trading environment, you will play a key role in developing pricing models, risk analytics and trading tools that support real-time decision-making.
  • This is a highly visible role where your work will have a direct impact on trade execution, portfolio performance and revenue generation.
  • The successful candidate will combine strong quantitative modelling skills with excellent C++ development experience and a solid understanding of Front Office trading and risk.
  • Partner closely with Front Office trading desks to develop and enhance pricing models, valuation methodologies and quantitative analytics.
  • Design and implement hedging strategies and risk models to support trading activity.
  • Deliver quantitative insights that inform real-time trading decisions and portfolio management.
  • Develop and improve trading algorithms, quantitative libraries and trading infrastructure.
  • Work alongside technology and data teams to ensure robust model implementation, optimisation and data integrity.
  • Analyse market data and trading performance to identify opportunities for model enhancement.
  • Support the continuous improvement of quantitative tools used across the trading desk.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance C++ applications within the Front Office environment.

Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience as a Quantitative Strategist, Quantitative Developer or Front Office Quant.
  • Expert-level C++ development skills (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a Front Office trading environment.
  • Strong understanding of pricing models, derivatives, market risk and quantitative analytics.
  • Experience supporting traders with real-time pricing, risk management and trading strategies.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading products.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical modelling skills.
  • Experience working with large-scale market data and quantitative libraries.
