On behalf of PwC, we are recruiting for a Senior Finance Transformation Lead on an initial 3month contract with a potential extension . The role is based in North London and will operate on a hybrid working model.
Join us as a Senior Finance Transformation Lead: We are looking for a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to join a client project team. The individual will work as part of a broader finance change function being provided to the client by PwC. This role specifically will involve representing finance in key project meetings / decisions and advising on solutions related to finance requirements for an enterprise-wide technology solution. The individual will support the interface between the finance change workstream on the project and senior stakeholders responsible for the governance of the technology implementation.
What you'll do:
Feed finance requirements into the technology change programmeFeed into key decisions in relation to new challenges and blockersAct as the interface between senior stakeholders and the finance change workstreamFinance workstream management (weekly comms and packs / workbooks)Supporting the development of non standard processes, data feeds and data structuresThe skills you'll need: ACA (ICAEW) or an equivalent chartered accountancy qualification (for example ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or a recognised overseas equivalent).Retail, Leisure, or Hospitality industry experience is essential.
Significant post-qualification experience gained in an in-house finance function, with genuine ownership of finance operations. Practical experience of ERP or finance systems implementation, upgrade or optimisation from a finance perspective, including involvement in areas such as requirements, design, testing or post-go-live stabilisation.
Strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to run parallel workstreams, prioritise effectively and deliver to tight deadlines in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility to engage CFOs and Finance Directors and to explain complex accounting, reporting, data and technology issues clearly and pragmatically to both finance and non-finance audiences.
Experience of building and sustaining senior stakeholder relationships.
