We are looking for an React Native Developer for an 12 Month Day Rate Contract on a hybrid basis in Belfast.
Deloitte is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative mobile solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications while collaborating closely with product owners, UX designers, architects, and backend engineering teams.
What you'll do;
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Build reusable components and scalable front-end architectures.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
The skills you'll need:
- Strong commercial experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of React concepts including Hooks, Context API, and state management.
- Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, MobX, or React Query.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong knowledge of mobile application lifecycle, deployment, and release processes.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
Technical & Ways of Working
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
- Experience with App Store and Google Play Store release management.
