Job description - the role Purpose of the role: As Solution Architect you wull join a major transformation programme delivering multiple strategic projects across a complex enterprise environment.
Working across a portfolio of initiatives, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions while providing technical leadership to project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
What youll do: Design and own end-to-end solution architectures across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and architecture standards.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to project teams, suppliers, and integration partners.
Produce and maintain architectural artefacts, including conceptual designs, high-level architectures, and low-level solution documentation.
Collaborate with Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to shape future technology roadmaps and solution decisions.
Support planning, estimation, governance, and delivery activities across a complex portfolio of transformation projects.
The skills youll need: Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale transformation or enterprise technology programmes.
Strong cloud architecture experience, ideally within Microsoft Azure environments.
Experience designing and supporting hybrid infrastructure solutions, including on-premise technologies and VMware.
Ability to create conceptual architecture, high-level designs, and solution roadmaps for complex business environments.
Experience working in Defence or secure government environments.
Active or recently held SC Clearance.
