Job description - the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience while supporting engineering projects and developing core technical skills. You will work closely with experienced engineers, contributing to project delivery while building your technical and professional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Systems Engineers in the delivery of engineering projects and tasks
- Interpret and review basic engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Assist in maintaining engineering documentation, records, and trackers
- Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project updates
- Coordinate meetings, actions, and follow-ups with internal project teams
- Assist with data analysis, system documentation, and configuration records
- Support document control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to support project activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related discipline)
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
