On behalf of our Financial Services client, we are looking for a number of Medical Underwriters for an initial 6-month contract based remotely.
Purpose of the role:
Manage and own a case pipeline from application to offer, making accurate decisions whilst balancing cost & risk that drives on improving customer outcomes and experience.
What you\βll do:
- Manage and take full ownership of a case pipeline from initial application to final offer.
- Conduct thorough assessments of each case to ensure accurate and fair decision-making.
- Balance business cost considerations with effective risk management practices.
- Apply company policies, procedures, and compliance standards throughout the process.
- Drive improvements in customer outcomes and overall client experience.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or bottlenecks in the process.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth progression of cases.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records to support transparency and audit requirements.

- A proven track record of underwriting skills
- Sound Knowledge and experience of the Protection Market
- Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information
- Sound understanding of medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical information
