Job description β the role
Purpose of the role:
As Manufacturing Data Analyst you will support the rollout of a Digital Manufacturing strategy. This role will play an important part in enabling Manufacturing Intelligence across the full lifecycle: Development, Production, Repair, and Overhaul within the Manufacturing, Assembly & Test organisation.
What you\βll do:
- Implement Manufacturing Intelligence and visualisation solutions.
- Develop and maintain coding solutions using Python, C#, VBA, SAP GUI scripting, JavaScript.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI and Cognos.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.
- Work with IIoT platforms and digital manufacturing systems.
- Develop and test digital manufacturing systems, ensuring risks are mitigated.
The skills you\βll need:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within manufacturing, engineering, or defence.
- Strong coding skills in Python (plus C#, VBA, SAP scripting, or JavaScript advantageous).
- Expertise with Power BI and/or Cognos for data visualisation and reporting.
- Understanding of IIoT platforms and manufacturing data systems.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, data-driven solutions.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- SC clearance preferred (or eligibility to obtain).
