We are looking for an IT Project Manager for an initial 12 month contract based in Derby on a hybrid model (2-3 days in the office per week) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
The experienced IT Project Manager will be leading a small and dynamic team within the Improvement Department, managing two important transformation projects while working closely with stakeholders with the aim of enhancing the employee experience and managing service operations efficiently and effectively.
As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating strong stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Strong experience in Governance and Control, implementing and maintaining governance and control processes to ensure project success.
- Leading and managing projects to time and cost, ensuring successful delivery of project objectives.
- Enhancing the employee experience and streamlining service operations for maximum efficiency.
- Developing and maintaining project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company goals.
What is required from IT Project Manager:
- Proven experience in leading IT transformation projects.
- Visio experience.
- Strong experience in governance and control processes.
- Specific experience in IT improvement and transformational projects.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
Desirable criteria includes:
- ServiceNow technical experience.
- Movers, joiners, leavers process experience.
- SPM (ServiceNow tool).
- Prince 2 experience.
