On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Financial Control Analyst based in Edinburgh for a 12-month contract. It will be a hybrid model.
Purpose of the role: To support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process by raising requisitions, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments.
What you’ll do:
- Raising requisitions, ensuring accurate coding
- Receipting of goods and services to ensure invoices can be matched to purchase orders
- Managing purchase orders
- Monthly reconciliations of receipted contractor purchase orders to time recording
- Analysis of weekly invoices on holds and initiating corrective action
- Ad hoc analysis on status of purchase orders and complete expenditure
- Raising risks and issues as they arise and ensuring respective control framework requirements are adhered to
- Forming strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders
The skills you’ll need:
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and ideally Oracle iProcurement (or other requisitioning applications)
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Financial Services environment experience
