On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Cast Operator for a 12 month contract based in Derby. In this role, you would work on a 4-shift pattern (12 hour shifts - 4 days on, 4 days off).
- Operate and monitor casting furnaces to transform ceramic moulds into high-quality cast products.
- Ensure adherence to strict health & safety standards while driving continuous improvement in processes and product quality.
- Process components ensuring accurate and efficient casting operations.
- Work closely with team members to meet production targets and customer requirements.
- Follow technical instructions and tight specifications to produce high-quality outputs.
- Operate safely at all times, adhering to company health & safety policies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer literacy.
