AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Data Engineer for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol) Responsibilities Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines using Python and SQL. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases and data warehouses. Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable data. Troubleshoot data issues and resolve pipeline failures efficiently. Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver effective data solutions and improve data processes. Essential Criteria Strong experience using Python for data processing and automation. Strong knowledge of SQL , including writing complex queries and data manipulation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve data-related issues. This is a client facing environment so excellent collaboration and communication skills with teams and clients alike, is imperative.
