Job description - the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience while supporting engineering projects and developing core technical skills.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, contributing to project delivery while building your technical and professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Systems Engineers in the delivery of engineering projects and tasks
  • Interpret and review basic engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Assist in maintaining engineering documentation, records, and trackers
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project updates
  • Coordinate meetings, actions, and follow-ups with internal project teams
  • Assist with data analysis, system documentation, and configuration records
  • Support document control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to support project activities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related discipline)
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and processes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
