On behalf of Computershare, we are looking for an AI Data Architect for a 12 month contract based in either the London, Edinburgh or Bristol office (3 days a week onsite). Join us as an AI Data Architect: The AI Data Architect is responsible for data platform solution design and architecture delivery, providing architectural direction to teams and leading the implementation of enterprise AI systems. This is a hands-on role focused on building real systems, the AI Data Architect will lead the design and delivery of the Fraud and Cyber AI systems initiative. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the end-to-end architecture and design of AI/ML and data platform solutions. Partnering closely with stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, shape future-state architectures and ensure successful solution delivery. Providing architectural leadership and governance, ensuring solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements. Driving innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, recommending architectural patterns and reusable components and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and business outcomes. Embedding Responsible AI and security-by-design principles across all solutions and incorporating controls. Influencing strategic technology decisions and investment priorities, acting as a trusted advisor while contributing to architecture standards and design practices. What you will bring to the role: Experience in the design, development, training, validation and optimising of machine learning models for fraud detection and financial crime use cases. Fraud detection model development experience using techniques such as gradient boosting, random forests, neural networks, ensemble models and graph-based analytics. Model evaluation, performance tuning and explainability experience. Data science and statistical modelling background, including hypothesis testing, probability, feature selection and experimentation. Hold MLOps, model deployment, versioning, monitoring, retraining and lifecycle management experience. Cloud-native machine learning architecture experience using Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent platforms. Experience in real-time and batch fraud detection architectures, including streaming analytics and event-driven processing. Knowledge of Fraud detection, AML and financial crime solutions. Experience integrating ML models into operational workflows and case management platforms.
