About the role

We are looking for two support workers to cover the above shifts to provide support to our client in his home and in the community.

Our client attends voluntary work on a Thursday, 09:00 to 15:00, and requires support to attend and complete his voluntary work.

Our client has a goal of receiving respite from support overnight and at weekends at his request.

The respite will be put into place when the successful candidate has obtained a good working relationship with the client and has a full understanding of his needs and support.

The respite will take place at the family home with the goal of providing support away from the family home so that the client can attend weekend breaks away at his choice of destination.

Our client also attends family holidays and support during the family holidays may be requested.

A private case manager is involved working alongside the client and his family.

A full induction training programme will be organised in order to familiarise the successful candidate with our client’s needs and complete training on his therapy programme.

  • To follow the support programme agreed with the case manager, therapists, and the client.
  • To be responsible for domestic chores linked with the client’s overall care.

These will include laundry, ironing, and cleaning, and any additional tasks in the interests of providing a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
