Job Role – Installation Supervisor – Racking and Storage Systems Due to continued growth we have the opportunity for an Installation Supervisor to join our successful business. We are an automation Management and Mechanical installation company, who offer services within the warehouse construction and automated intralogistics industries. We have experienced extremely high levels of growth over the last three years and have further huge future growth levels forecast. We are a small and closely knit team and would expect the successful candidate to become an integral member of the team. This role would be suited to someone already in the Storage and assembly industry with at least 5 years experience of Steel racking and storage structures and systems. This role has the possibility for eventual career progression to Installation Manager as the company grows. Responsibilities and Duties · Lead and manage a team of racking installers on installation projects from start to completion. · Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. · Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and installation guidelines. · Provide hands-on support when needed, assisting the team in assembling and installing racking systems. · Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. · Maintain accurate documentation, including site reports, project updates, and safety checks. · Mentor and train team members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration. · Liaise with the Management team to plan and allocate Resource and equipment to upcoming installation · Ensure Company Inventory such as tools and equipment are catalogued and maintained for maintenance and inspection purposes · Direct the installation team to the correct sequence of installation in line with engineering drawings and instructions · Address any challenges or issues that arise during the installation process, offering solutions and support to the team. · Provide leadership and mentorship to the installation teams, encouraging professional growth and skill development. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you will need: · Leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. · Strong knowledge of racking systems, technical specifications, and installation processes. · A commitment to health and safety, with a track record of adhering to and enforcing regulations. · Excellent communication and organizational skills. · The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. · A valid driver’s license (essential).
