Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for the primary day‑to‑day delivery of Ready Mix Concrete to job sites, homeowners and industry clients. This customer‑facing role requires a service‑oriented mindset and a highly professional approach.
What You'll Accomplish
- Maintain equipment daily through pre‑ and post‑trip inspections; keep equipment clean inside and out.
- Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers in assigned geography; own their satisfaction.
- Deliver consistent and reliable customer service; ensure a positive, hassle‑free delivery experience.
- Maintain strong working relationships with logistics and operations teams as well as fellow operators.
Training
Amrize Ready Mix Training Program provided. Able to operate electronic devices such as tablets and GPS. Demonstrate commitment to communication, improvement, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. Promote a culture of safety.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Required Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience; preference for construction and heavy equipment experience and understanding of building materials industry.
- Required Training/Certifications: Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver abstract.
- Additional Requirements: Flexible schedule; may require different shifts and weekend availability. Able to lift >50 lbs.

Safety and PPE
Adhere to all safety protocols and use of Amrize‑approved personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
